Q How can you help?

A With over 40 years' experience, I have learned how to do research efficiently and have access to many Sources.  I do all of the work ~ saving you time and money.  No need for Memberships, no need to visit record depositories. No Consultancy Fees. Many packages available ~ all cleary priced. No hidden charges.  I do not charge an hourly rate for my services and am available for consultation 24/7.

Q What do you need to know from me?

A At least two names on each side of your family who lived sometime between 1888 and 1920. Information regarding where they lived, names of children, siblings, uncles and aunts would also assist in tracing the correct families.

Q What happens if you are unable to locate the correct families?

A If initial checks do not provide enough facts to enable me to start your project, any results gained to date will be given to you with no charge. 

Q How far back can you go?

A It should be possible to trace most families back to the 1800s, some to the 1700s and even 1600s.

Q What can be found out?

A For each individual it is hoped to get Full name, Date and Location of Birth, Baptism, Marriage and Death. In many cases Occupation, Residential addresses, Immigration / Emigration, Military action can be ascertained.

Q What are your Sources?

A Census returns for 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911; IGI [International Genealogy Index]; GRO [General Register Office] records of Births, Marriages [from 1837] and Deaths; Scottish records of Births, Marriages [from 1855] and Deaths; Military records; War Graves Commission records; Parish records; Grave and Church memorials; Wills and Probate; Newspaper Archives; Published Family Trees.

Q How long will it take?

A Allow 2-4 weeks per generation. It's quicker if you have an 'unusual' surname ~ ADBY, PERYOR and ZEININGER take less than ANGOVE, WILLIAMS or WRIGHT. Depending on type of package selected, completion could be from 2 to 4 months.
